March 10, 2026

1. Connect to the Controller's Hotspot
- Open Wi-Fi Settings: Navigate to the Wi-Fi section on your smartphone.
- Select the Device: Look for a network named HYPNOTIK-XXXX (e.g., HYPNOTIK-5390). This is the Access Point (AP) generated by the controller. Tap to connect.
- Sign In: Once connected, your phone may notify you that the network has no internet. Tap the notification or the "Sign On" option to open the configuration portal.

2. Configure Wi-Fi Settings
- Enter Setup: On the landing page, click the WI-FI SETTINGS button.
- Scan for Networks: Tap the SCAN button to search for your local home Wi-Fi network.
-
Select Your Network: Click the Network Name dropdown menu and select your desired home Wi-Fi (e.g., HOME-NETWORK).
- Note: Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4GHz network, as most LED controllers do not support 5GHz.
- Enter Password: Type your home Wi-Fi password into the Network Password field.
- Save: Tap SAVE.

3. Finalize and Control
- Confirmation: You will see a message stating "Wi-Fi & Remote Settings Saved." The controller will now reboot and attempt to connect to your home router.
- Reconnect Your Phone: Ensure your smartphone is now back on your home Wi-Fi network.
- Open the App: Launch the HYPNOTIK App. Your device should now appear in the list with its assigned IP address, ready for you to control colors and patterns.
